1. Service Provider

By using TataText, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TataText provides AI-powered transcription of audio and video files. The Service converts speech to text using automated models including Whisper (via Groq), with optional speaker diarization and AI-assisted text correction. Output is provided in text, SRT, and DOCX formats.

The Service is provided on a subscription or pay-as-you-go basis, with a limited free tier available.

3. Eligibility and Account

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when registering.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use TataText to upload, process, or distribute content that:

• Violates any applicable law or regulation.
• Infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
• Contains material that is unlawful, defamatory, or harmful.
• Is intended to harass, threaten, or defraud any person.
• You do not have the right to transcribe (e.g. recordings of third parties without their consent).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Plans, Billing and Refunds

• Free plan: A limited number of transcription minutes are available at no charge each month.
• Subscription plans: Paid plans are billed monthly. Your plan renews automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Top-up minutes: One-off minute packages are non-refundable once purchased and do not expire.
• Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused minutes in a billing period.
• Refunds: Refund requests for exceptional circumstances may be submitted to info@tatatext.com within 14 days of purchase. We will review each case individually.
• Creem.io is the merchant of record for all TataText transactions. Your payment, receipt, and billing relationship is with Creem.io. By making a payment, you also agree to Creem.io's Terms of Service.
• Cancellation via Creem.io: You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through the Creem.io customer portal (link provided in your purchase confirmation email) or by contacting us at info@tatatext.com.

6. Transcription Accuracy

TataText uses state-of-the-art AI models, but transcription accuracy is not guaranteed. Results depend on audio quality, background noise, accents, and other factors. The Service is provided as-is and outputs should be reviewed before use in any critical context (legal, medical, official, etc.).

7. Intellectual Property

• You retain full ownership of the files you upload and the transcripts generated from them.
• By using the Service, you grant BuyIT G.P. a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your files solely for the purpose of providing transcription.
• The TataText platform, brand, and software are the intellectual property of BuyIT G.P.. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuyIT G.P. shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
• Loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption.
• Errors or inaccuracies in transcription output.
• Temporary unavailability of the Service due to maintenance or technical issues.

Our total liability to you in any circumstances shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Service Availability

We aim to keep TataText available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect the Service. We will endeavour to provide advance notice where possible.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting info@tatatext.com. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece and the European Union. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Greece. As a consumer within the EU, you may also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of TataText after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
